The Harrisburg Federal Courthouse is a $148 million, 240,000 sf. The building is currently under construction. The building, set for completion in late 2021, will house eight courtrooms: 5 District, 2 Magistrate, and 1 Bankruptcy. The site for the building is located on the corner of 6th and Reily Street in the Midtown neighborhood of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

CGL’s AOR Justice team, (now NELSON Worldwide), is teamed with Ennead Architects on the design and construction of the project. Their involvement spans various aspects, including building organization, courtroom design, mock-ups, chamber layout, and tenant fit-out throughout construction documents. The team oversees construction administration and has taken the lead in designing and selecting the court’s furniture as part of the Furniture Acquisition Plan scope.
