Our team was tasked with refreshing this 1.4 million square-foot shopping center for CBL Properties. We redeveloped a former Sears store at Fayette Mall in Lexington, Kentucky to offer new retail space and increase the mall’s revenue potential.
A total of 20 inline retail tenants now reside in the 115,000 square-foot former Sears, including a two-level H&M. In addition to new retail space, we added two mall entrances to improve traffic flow. The entrances are flanked by restaurants with outdoor dining, including well-known chain The Cheesecake Factory and popular gastropub Bar Louie.
We helped CBL Properties capitalize on dark anchor space by repositioning it to accommodate additional retailers and attract a diverse set of consumers, in turn, making the mall a more sought-after shopping destination.
