After establishing a great relationship with Dow Jones on a successful Chicago-based project, our team was commissioned to design additional sites in Houston, Los Angeles, New York, and Minneapolis. The Dow Jones team was looking for an office aesthetic that would unify all locations, but also highlight and celebrate the local culture of each neighborhood.
We implemented a 90/10 design concept, meaning 90 percent of the space reflects a unified corporate feel, with 10 percent of the space celebrating all that is great about the specific location. Across the locations, unassigned seating, along with a variety of seating types and shared spaces, enables a mobile and productive work environment. Their highly mobile staff will always feel at home in the office, no matter where they are, surrounded by graphics that celebrate the uniqueness of their location.
