Our team activated the courtyard of this 17-story Brutalist office tower on Dewey Square – originally built in 1977 – by fully enclosing its first three floors in glass. The canted enclosure created approximately 12,000 square feet of new retail and restaurant space that opens up to pedestrians, offering an enhanced streetscape that better integrates the building with Boston’s Financial District. A raised platform that’s open to the public offers beautiful views of the Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy Greenway across Purchase Street.
