Our design team was enlisted to renovate, reposition, and re-envision the building lobby and café at 600 Metropoint in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The goal was to create a modern aesthetic and upgrade the buildings public and shared spaces to attract new tenants and the modern-day worker.

The reimagined lobby is now sleek and airy boasting a light terrazzo floor, floor-to-ceiling windows, and solid neutral tones to create a sharper and more meaningful design. A new sleek-lined security desk is positioned near the main entrance and works seamlessly with the Metropoint back-lit signage. Newly imagined seating areas are found within the adjacent light-filled large lounge spaces where guests and tenants can take full advantage of the natural light and views. A new large back-lit LED multi-screen monitor installation was included within the seating areas to provide information and visual energy.

An amenity game room, equipped with a foosball table, shuffleboard table, and enjoyable seating areas replaced the space formerly occupied by a convenience store as tenants needs and wants for what buildings can offer has changed. A newly designed café and outdoor space is washed with natural light from large floor-to-ceiling windows and walls that connect the café to the outdoor area. New furnishings and curated plant landscapes create a visual barrier to separate the traditional café seating and tables to a more comfortable seating area.
